Manilkara kauki![]() The trunks of the Manilkara kauki tree native to South East Asia reach a height of approx. 25 m and a diameter on average of about 100 cm. The heartwood is brownish to reddish, very hard and features a very finely-textured grain. The wood has almost the same specific gravity and color of pernambuco wood, which has been used for centuries to make instrument bows.
